HYROX Pro Doubles Elite 15 World Championships!
Wednesday 11th September, Hamburg 2024 - HYROX the World Series of Fitness Racing has announced a new addition to its Elite competition series with the introduction of the Pro Doubles Elite 15 World Championship. In this new addition to the Elite calendar, the best doubles athletes will compete for the Elite 15 Doubles World Championship hosted at this year’s World Championship event. This new division will allow the best Double’s competitors to compete at the highest level and introduce the most exciting, high-paced form of HYROX racing to the community.
The Pro Doubles Elite 15 World Championship will showcase the best male and female doubles teams, with the following qualification rules:
Top 3 Teams Qualify: The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the Male & Female Pro Doubles category at each of the following races will qualify for the World Championship:
Important Notes:
- No Mixed Doubles Category: This division is exclusively for male and female doubles teams.
- Same Partner Rule: Athletes must compete at the World Championship with the same partner they qualified with—no team changes allowed.
- One Qualification per Athlete: Athletes can only qualify once. If you qualify with one partner, you cannot re-qualify with another.
The Doubles category is the most popular participation option globally in HYROX with over 50% of athletes competing in a form of doubles. Since launching in January 2024 the Pro Doubles has already seen huge popularity since launching in January, the Pro Doubles category was one of the most requested division additions in HYROX in 2023 and the Elite 15 Doubles Pro will now give the most popular form of HYROX it’s own pinnacle moment in the season.
